The Purification Ritual

Augustus was no longer in his possession. He had intended to return to Astral Sanctum after he had finished today’s affairs on getting the Division of Earth geared up for a large-scale landing on Astraia-Improba. The Division of Earth would develop into the Astraian Empire’s reconnaissance force on the surface of Astraia-Improba, it was imperative that Ethereal the High knew, and was able to strongly value a 3rd of his people’s objectives. There was reasonably a lot of quarreling on Astraia-Improba’s surface amid Improbans; the Ethereals that were to be landing would necessitate to keep themselves armed, and keep their spiritual power clandestine to the inhabitants on the surface – dealing with all threats that could distinguish them.

Previous to recurring back to the White Palace centered in Astral Sanctum, it was essential that Augustus immerse himself in Trepidity. His grand city loomed vastly over the Astraian-half of the world. Each and every one was able to see it from the surface of Astraia-Improba, it was a superlative metropolis, and the preponderance of Improbans looked at it as some sort of heavenly city confined by the clouds and an imperceptible energy. They could think highly of it all they sought after, but, it was far too soaring beyond for any to journey to it and even those gifted with the ability to take to the air would have a hard time productively infiltrating Astral Sanctum without being detected. There was only one way for anyone on the surface to get into Astral Sanctum, and that was in the course of a gateway triggered by runes of Ethereal derivation – a security lock, and protected by Ethereals, with a variety of conserved Improban bodies to combat the Improbans who would dare tread within its boundaries.

Augustus was in the nude in his innate appearance as he stepped into the pool before him. His lengthy, silver hair covered various parts of his body, and the instant he stepped into it; the color went from acidic green to a dazzling, crystalline white color. He closed his eyes as the waters hurried, touching his soft skin. By now his head was all that stuck out of the focal point of the pool. With his eyes closed, he remained composed. There he stood; rejuvenating the purity he lost upon stepping onto the surface of Astraia-Improba.

While latent within the focal point of the pool, there was in fact a woman in the remoteness. Outlandishly she could see him; it was dissimilar to any other Human being to include the aptitude to perceive Ethereals, but, providentially, Augustus, and the Astraian Empire documented what are called “Mediums” as threats, and she had to be one of them because she was able to see Augustus’s divine form – he undoubtedly didn’t look completely Corporeal, or Demonborn, so, he felt it odd that this woman thought him to be an explorer.

As soon as Augustus stepped out of Trepidity, there was a brilliant white radiance in the region of his stature and it aided in concealing areas that he would never want someone to witness. Walking unhurriedly to his hung garments, it didn’t take long for him to put it on, since he wore the robe of Ethereal the High, and has worn it for numerous years. He had of course appropriately altered away from the woman’s discernment. Within ten minutes he had walked in the direction of the woman’s campfire – now was his opportunity to further his awareness of the Meta-Humans.

“Astraia, the Realm of Ascension is godly, and therefore, timeless. Your insight into my future is by and large ineffectual.” He wasn’t looking her in the eye as he spoke. His eyes remained unmovable on Astral Sanctum’s situation in the starry sky.

Augustus sat down on the log without uttering a sound and sat with a praiseworthy posture. His outline was luminous still, and the woman hadn’t yet questioned his origin – which was unusual, since Ethereals seldom surfaced on Astraia-Improba. “…Well?” Augustus held no conviction in the woman’s fortune-telling, and he could care less on the subject of what she had to “prophesize” to him; his only intent was to acquire information from her in return, for she would have to esteem his requests, because he respected her own.
